The Lynx Technik greenMachine 3G UPXD 4-Channel 3G-SDI Up/Down/Cross Converter is a broadcast quality video processing equipment featuring a quad channel up/down/cross converter and frame synchronizer that supports up to 3G-SDI (1920 x 1080) per channel. This package is intended for applications requiring dependable broadcast-quality up/down/cross conversion and frame synchronization, as well as full audio processing functionality. The scalers included enabling for spatial conversions of video signals, as well as a versatile Region of Interest (ROI) selection. Two of the processing channels are additionally equipped with high-performance deinterlacers for the conversion of interlaced video signals.
To synchronize the video signals, a bi-level SD reference signal and a tri-level HD reference signal can be employed. There is also a timed reference output (SD or HD). The Nova controller also supports this greenMachine 3G UPXD package, allowing the module to be remotely controlled and monitored using third-party master control software.
Each greenMachine has all of the possible constellations preloaded (configurations). The GMC-3GUPXD constellation is loaded and licensed in this package. You can load any of the various constellations (configurations) at any time for testing and evaluation; however, the video and audio will be watermarked until licensed. Multiple constellations can be licensed for the same machine, and switching between them takes only a few seconds. Constellations can also be shared if your network contains more than one greenMachine.
