The Lynx Technik yellobrik CHD 1812 HDMI to 3G-SDI Converter with Frame Synchronizer is a versatile and small HDMI to SDI converter with a built-in frame synchronizer. It is an excellent choice for any application that necessitates a properly synchronized SDI input from an external asynchronous HDMI source. Any analog video sync standard, including SD bi-level sync, black burst, colorbars, and tri-level HD sync, can be accepted via the flexible reference sync input.
The sync input detects itself and is fully cross-lock compatible. An SDTV reference, for example, can be used to frequency lock an HD HDMI input. If no reference is given, the converter converts conventional asynchronous HDMI to SDI. Any AES channel can have a pair of stereo analog inputs. Professional balanced audio with configurable full-scale level or unbalanced consumer line level audio can be used as audio inputs. Any audio available in the HDMI stream is integrated into the SDI output by default, although it can be substituted with external audio sources.
