The Kiloview N50 12G-SDI/USB to NDI BiDirectional Converter is a full-featured NDI converter that employs cutting-edge FPGA technologies, advanced-level AVC/HEVC algorithms, and the NDI algorithm. It supports encoding and decoding within a single unit, meeting all of your needs for IP-based video transmission. The N50 supports H.264/H.265 12G-SDI format encoding/decoding of both NDI High-bandwidth and NDI|HX2/3.
Decoding and Encoding
The N50 easily converts a 4K 12G-SDI video signal into an NDI or NDI|HX stream when in encoding mode. It will automatically adapt the NDI and NDI|HX formats as your end needs while in decoding mode. The N50 easily handles NDI transmissions with a latency of less than 80ms.
Professional Color Performance
The N50 has a 10-bit color depth and a professional YCbCr 4:2:2 color space (the common 8-bit color depth is also available). The N50 offers improved color and image quality to meet the high standards of the broadcast and medical industries.
Integrated LCD screen and scroll wheel
The N50, as a 12G-SDI version of the Kiloview N60, is equally concerned with user experiences. The N50 has a large color LCD screen that allows users to check the unit parameters at any time and from any location. It can also be used as a large tally and works in tandem with the small tally on the back panel, allowing all personnel in the field to check the PVW or PGM status in real-time. The scroll wheel allows users to easily customize settings, turn on/off, set quick shortcuts, and control all video sources.
USB Extender
The N50 has both USB 3.0 Type-A and USB 3.0 Type-C interfaces, allowing users to use a Web Camera as a video input source for encoding via USB 3.0 Type-A. Connect to a PC using USB 3.0 Type-C as a USB video input; control the PTZ camera using USB expansion. With USB extensions, users can achieve limitless possibilities by seamlessly integrating NDI technology into applications such as video conferencing, image processing, and PTZ camera control.
Audio and Intercom
The N50 supports embedded audio 12G-SDI and analog audio 3.5mm encoding/decoding. It supports an extended USB audio interface (for example, a USB headset) to enable end-to-end real-time intercom between Kiloview device operators and the Kiloview Intercom System (KIS) group.
PTZ Control
The N50 allows for PTZ control via USB to serial RS-232/RS-485/RS-422. It also uses network control protocols for external PTZ control (such as Sony Visca/PELCO-D/PELCO-P).
PoE and DC
The N50 has two Ethernet interfaces, one of which supports the PoE (IEEE 802.3AT) power supply. Simply plug in a network cable to gain access to both the power supply and the network transmission. It also has a DC 12V power supply and can be powered by a portable charger or camera battery.
Storage TF
The N50 has a TF storage extension that allows you to record NDI video directly to a TF card (local recording supports MOV. format). TF storage keeps your recording process from losing video frames due to network latency, disruption, or fluctuation.
