The GY-HM620 from JVC is an advanced handheld ProHD camera that gives unrivaled imagery and provides plenty features for sports, news or even independent production. This new series has the updated CMOS devices for best sensitivity and a better LCD display for outdoor daylight condition. From the usage aspect, this product gives fast paced HD field production.

From the image side, this GY-HM620 has great features, such as three 1/3" 12-bit CMOS sensors, optical image stabilizer, 3 position ND filter, and the 23x Fujinon autofocus wide angle zoom lens with manual functions. As for the inputs/outputs, there are HD/SD-SDI and HDMI outputs as well as the 2-channels balanced audio mic/line switchable inputs. When recording, the compatible frame rates is at NTSC, up to 59.94 i/p. Meanwhile, the multiple recording formats are at HD MPEG, AVCHD 2.0, SD, and Proxy H.264.

In depth, this GY-HM620 has 2 SDXC/SDHC slots that useful for concurrent dual codec recording or even relay recording. For mobile production, this device has the viewfinder LCD display, as well as the built-in microphone that gives additional flexibility for mobile production. In all, this product is a versatile and an easy-to-use ProHD camcorder.
