The GY-HM200SP from JVC is an affordable and innovative sports production camera that gives professional quality. This product is made to allow a single person to shoot sporting events, and overlay graphics and stream HD video. The camera has the 4K Ultra HD professional and recording features in handheld and versatile form factor. The 1/2.33" BSI sensor is useful for improving the low-light capability as well as supporting Ultra HD (3840x2160) resolution video at 24/30p, and 8-bit 4:2:2 Full HD 1080p video from 24p to 60p.

With the new recording mode in this GY-HM200SP at 70 Mbps, as such users can record to the Class 10 SDHC/SDXC cards. This CamCorder is made with the 12x zoom lens that gives the 35mm equivalent focal range of 29.5 to 354mm, with the 24x dynamic zoom mode when recording HD video. The dual XLR audio inputs, 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs as well as the dual codec Advanced Streaming Technology are made for professional workflows.

Either with the Wi-Fi or 4G LTE modem, the GY-HM200SP gives users the ability to deliver a live video streaming in the field directly from the CamCorder. Also, the dual codec supports the CamCorder to stream live HD video to hardware decoders, Wowza or Ustream as well as the ProHD Broadcaster servers that powered by Zixi. During the streaming process, this device can concurrently record video internally to SDHC/SDXC media cards. Some options of streaming protocols are also available such as RTMP that provide easy distribution to Content Delivery Networks (CDN) and to popular streaming websites. The Zixi Advanced Streaming Technology gives content-aware error correction and bandwidth shaping while delivering real-time feedback LTE and streaming status in the viewfinder.

As for monitoring and composing the video, the GY-HM200SP has the 3.5” LCD and the 0.24” viewfinder, both has smart focus assist function. Other additional features that can be found on this device such as the built-in stereo microphone, built-in ND filters, nine assignable function buttons as well as wired remote control support. There is also a top handle unit that covers the XLR audio box and with the 7.4 VDC 4900mAh battery and AC adapter.
