The DUO-C198 191Wh Li-Ion V-Mount Battery from IDX System is newest compact, high capacity battery solution for digital cinema cameras and camera stabilizer systems such as Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro, ARRI ALEXA Mini, RED Camera, and AJA CION. Packed with ultra-robust 191Wh capacity and weighing only 2.3lb, the DUO-C198 can provide mobile power to any high demand cine-style cameras today.
The new SMBUS allows RED camera users to see data in the viewfinder! The DUO-C198 also includes a ‘D-Tap Advanced’ charge/discharge port. The D-Tap Advanced port can be used to charge the battery with a low cost IDX D-Tap charger and is compatible with all IDX D-Tap connectors. Additionally, a standard D-Tap and USB output are available to power accessories such as monitors, lights, wireless receivers, tablets, phones and more.
The DUO-CC198 can handle a combined load of up to 14A among its V-mount, D-Tap outputs, and USB port. One of the D-Taps can also be used to charge the battery, although that requires an optional charger that is not included. Designed with battery circuit protection against overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, and exposure to high temperatures, providing protection to your battery from the rigors of production. A 5-LED battery life indicator on the side of the battery provides a quick visual indication of charge state of your battery.
