The Hollyland Mars M1 5.5" Wireless Transceiver Monitor allows you to send, receive, and monitor high-quality wireless video transmissions. The Mars M1 features a 5.5" touchscreen display with a sharp resolution and 1000 cd/m2 luminance for director's monitoring and follow focus applications. Its built-in wireless transmitter and receiver enable transmission and reception of video up to 450' away between M1 units or to/from the Mars 400S Pro, Mars 300 Pro, and Mars 4K wireless transmitters/receivers. Additionally, M1 video can be viewed on smartphones and tablets running the Hollyview companion software.
The HDMI input of the monitor supports up to UHD 4K30 video input, and the HDMI loop output and SDI input support multiple broadcast drop-frame frame rates. Various imagery tools, such as scopes, peaking, and the storage of 3D LUTs on the monitor, are accessible via the monitor's internal firmware. It can be powered by either the L-series battery plate or the DC interface. It also has a DC power output for charging cameras and other devices.
All in One
The Mars M1 is an integrated transmitter, receiver, and monitoring system. On the monitoring screen, you can alternate between the transmitter and receiver modes. A single transmitter is compatible with up to two receivers or four mobile applications. The Mars M1 can be used in conjunction with the Mars Pro and 4K series to reduce the number of devices required for photography.
5.5" Touch LCD Screen
The Mars M1 features a 5.5-inch touch LCD display with a maximum luminance of 1,000 nits. During production, professional color calibration is performed, and multiple color temperature adjustments are available. The display supports the Rec. 709 color space for superior color reproduction. There are five selectable 3D LUT configurations available for color transfer to the monitor.
LOS Range and 0.08s Ultra-low Latency
The Mars M1 has a remarkable LOS range of 150 meters and ultra-low latency of 0.08 seconds.
HDMI & SDI Dual Interfaces
For increased connectivity and compatibility, the Mars M1 supports 4K/30 fps HDMI input and loopout. Its SDI input offers enhanced compatibility and flexibility for professional video production.
Multiple Auxiliary Functions
The Mars M1 is equipped with a variety of auxiliary functions, including a 4x optical magnification, focus assist, exposure assist, and waveform display, which enhances shooting efficiency.
Smart Channel Scan and Selection
Options for channel assignment permit interference-free transmission. Automatically, a stable connection is attainable upon startup. An intelligent channel scan identifies which ones are occupied and selectable.
Customized Appearance
The custom-made capsule antennas eliminate the need for repetitive disassembly. The Mars M1 body exterior has a frosted texture and weighs only 13.5oz (380g).
