The Datavideo HDR-70 is a rack mountable hard drive-based video recorder for SD/HD-SDI with removable hard drive enclosure. It can record from both High and Standard Definition video equipment via HD/SD-SDI. This video recorder features a selectable color sampling ratio and data rate settings. The front panel buttons provide the user a local tape deck control of the unit, with built-in led audio level meters, two XLR inputs and outputs for balanced audio.
Once the user has finished recording, they can simply eject the hard drive enclosure and use a USB 2.0 to connect to a Mac or PC based NLE system. The USB port offers power to the unit. This is ideal for use with laptops in the field. You can work directly from the removable drive, or copy video files to your NLE’s video drives. The unit writes to the NTFS file system format, which makes the drive readable by both Mac and Windows systems and avoids the 4GB file size limitation of FAT32 systems. For easier operating, the HDR-70 offers remote control which features a 9-pin connector that allows control by RS-232 or RS-422.UPC: 672255004111
