A New Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro Is Being Unveiled By Blackmagic Design.

A new and enhanced studio camera with an EF lens mount, a bigger 6K sensor for greater colorimetry and fine detail handling, ND filters, and built-in live streaming via Ethernet or mobile data was announced by Blackmagic Design today as the Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro. A member of the Blackmagic Studio Camera family, the Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro features the same compact all-in-one design as its siblings, including a lightweight carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate housing, a big inbuilt 7 "Strong broadcasting connectors and an HDR viewfinder.

The Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 has also been revealed, and this time it has built-in live streaming.

Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro price is $2495.

Blackmagic Studio Cameras pack all the functionality of bulkier studio cameras into a lightweight and portable package. The dynamic range and color science of digital film cameras also allow them to work in extremely low-light settings while still capturing strikingly dramatic results. The sensor has an ISO range of up to 25,600, allowing users to capture stunning photographs in low-light conditions. Talkback, tally, camera control, in-built color corrector, Blackmagic RAW recording to USB disks, live streaming, and more are just some of the advanced capabilities. As an added bonus, users may now install cameras remotely, nearly anywhere in the world, thanks to the addition of built-in live streaming via Ethernet or mobile data in the latest Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 and 6K Pro models.

Although the Blackmagic Studio Camera is optimized for use with a live switcher, it may be used in a variety of other situations as well. Customers may use it everywhere they would normally set up a tripod because it records in Blackmagic RAW to USB drives. That big number 7 "chat shows, TV production, broadcast news, sports, education, conference presentations, and weddings are just some of the many uses for a viewfinder. Because of its wide, bright display, convenient side handles, touch screen, and tactile buttons, it is simple to follow shots and can be used for extended periods of time without fatigue.

The same imaging technology seen in digital film cameras is now available to customers with the help of Blackmagic's generation 5 color science and some truly incredible sensors. The switcher also features controls for the color corrector. The camera's 13-stop dynamic range means deeper blacks and brighter whites, making it ideal for post-production color grading. The 4K models' 3840 by 2160 resolution is ideal for High Definition (HD) production, while the 6K model's 6144 by 3456 resolution is ideal for Ultra High Definition (Ultra HD) production. In addition, every make and model can handle frames per second between 23.98 and 60.

Blackmagic Studio Cameras can use an extensive variety of reasonably priced photographic lenses because they use the standard EF or MFT lens mounts. The lenses used in photography are of the highest quality since they were made for taking pictures with a very high resolution. Optional focus and zoom commands enable users to make these adjustments from the tripod's grips, just as they would on a large studio camera, eliminating the need to physically move the lens. Customers will feel as though they are using a high-priced B4 broadcast lens.

The switcher operator can speak with the cameras during live events thanks to the SDI connectors on the Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 and 6K Pro models, which provide talkback in contrast to consumer cameras. To avoid having multiple cameras capture the same scene at the same time, the director might communicate with the camera operators to help them choose the best shots. The camera has a built-in talkback connector on the side for use with standard 5 pin XLR broadcast headsets.

The Blackmagic Studio cameras' many ports make them ideal for linking up with both consumer and broadcast gear. With features like 12G-SDI and 10GBASE-T Ethernet as well as talkback and balanced XLR audio inputs, the top-tier Blackmagic Studio Camera Pro models are ideal for use in broadcasting environments. Due to the 10G Ethernet, all video, tally, talkback, and camera power can be sent over a single cable, speeding up the installation process. The only difference is that instead of expensive SMPTE fiber, you're utilizing cheap Category 6A copper Ethernet cable.

The Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 and 6K Pro versions now offer integrated live streaming, allowing users to remotely set up cameras anywhere in the world. This enables users to set up a camera in an out-of-the-way area, and have it transmit a live, high-definition (HD) H.264 feed to the control room in real-time. Customers can watch remotely via a 4G or 5G phone plugged into the camera's USB-C port, or they can use the built-in Ethernet connection to connect the camera to the internet.

High-quality, remotely-controllable ND filters are included with the Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro. These filters allow users to swiftly lower the amount of light entering the camera. The 2-, 4-, and 6-stop filters are calibrated to the camera's colorimetry and color science, giving users more leeway in low-light situations. Images are free of infrared (IR) contamination since the filters are made to filter both optical and IR wavelengths uniformly. Remotely and on demand, the ND filters can be electronically adjusted using the camera's function buttons. Because to remote control, the camera operator may focus on framing the shot rather than worrying about the equipment.
