Due to the optical fiber technology, this Teranex Mini Analog to Optical 12G can produce the good quality of Full 4K DCI 4096 x 2160p for the upconverted files. With the built-in full-size XLR connectors, you can connect separate audio for the upconverted files that can be switched between the balanced analog and the AES/EBU digital audio. The optical output can also give the extra long distance connections
Construction wise, this Teranex Mini Analog to Optical 12G has portable size but still with convenient LCD display that useful to monitor the video conversion along with the audio level. Using this converter in a long duration would not cause any issue due to the ability to dissipate heat for preventing any overheating with the crossflow cooling therein. Therefore, stacking up this unit with other rack-mounted devices would not cause any increment of temperature to this device.
