The AJA HA5-12G HDMI 2.0 to 12G-SDI Converter features 1x HDMI 2.0 input,1x Optical Fiber output, 2x RCA Channels, and 2x 12G-SDI output that can support up to 4K 60p. The HA5-12G is capable of converting 4k/Ultra HD and HD to HDMI with a single link input with 8- channels of embedded digital audio. Moreover, you can convert an HDMI 2.0 input with up to 8-channels of audio from an HDMI source or 2-Channel analog (RCA) to two 12G-SDI single-link outputs with 8 or 2 channels of embedded audio. This includes 2x-SDI DA outputs and transmits 12G-SDI on each SDI link, shortening the cable runs when transporting 4k/UltraHD SDI. The HA5-12G is equipped with Fiber SFP, which can extend HDMI source 4k signal up to 6 miles of distances.

Graphics quality
The HA5-12G delivers a High Dynamic Range (HDR) that provides the ability to display a wider and richer series of colors, higher contrast, deeper and darker than standard signals allow. This helps your imagery to look more vivid and allows a transition from natural to life colors. The HA5-12G offers support for analyzing HDR infoframe data coming in over HDMI, when you use the AJA Mini-Config software.
Support 4K and Ultra HD
A standard 4K signals use a resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels, while UltraHD signals and measure 3840 x 2160. This difference can prevent some monitors from being used either in full 4K workflows or in UltraHD workflows. The HA5-12G can fill and compensate for these resolution differences, allowing UltraHD monitors to be used in 4K productions and vice versa.
In addition, the HA5-12G can support High Frame Rate (HFR) inputs. It offers 4K/UltraHD signals at 50 or 60 fps can be fed into HA5-12G and output at up to 60p for viewing with appropriate HDMI 2.0 capable displays.
Full HDMI Support
The equalized input on HA5- 12G is designed to support HDMI runs up to 90ft in length through a 24gauge cable. The Embedded HDMI audio support allows for a single cable solution to avoid unnecessary clutter and simplify installation.
12G-SDI Support
The 12G-SDI outputs on HA5-12G provide high-quality signal representation for use with large raster and deep color workflows when the image quality is poor.
Pristine Image Quality
A 12G-SDI output offers a PLL clock filtering that ensures a low jitter output for solid image stability. This Converter has an LED indicator that shows the input source when is SD (green), HD (red) or 4K/UltraHD (orange). This feature is helpful for fast and easy signal identification.
Analog RCA
The HA5-12G has two RCA analog audio inputs, embed any 2-Channel analog audio signal into the SDI output to maintain proper audio sync throughout the workflow.
DSLR support
The HA5-12G is capable of accepting progressive standard definition signals at 525p and 625p for compatibility with DSLR cameras. This allows the signal from those cameras to be smoothly incorporated into SDI workflows.
Compact and Portable
The FiDO converters are compact, work fine in tight spaces behind on camera, gear rack, and trucks. This converter has a locking power connector that can't be removed accidentally or pull loose. Another feature is the P-TAP power cable that allows for battery power in remote locations.
