AJA’S FiDO-4T-X is Quad-Channel 3G-SDI that converts video formats using the Single-Mode LC Optical Fiber Transmitter for (CDWM). This Mini-Converter features CWDM SEP option that allows users to choose the appropriate wavelength SEP for their corresponding application. The CWDM SFP modules require to be configured using the AJA SFP Configurator for FiDO-X models. The FiDO-4T-X is a transmitter that allows the transport of quad channel SD, HD, 3G-SDI and 4K/UltraHD rasters, for CWDM needs from 3G-SDI BNC inputs.
This converter can carry video signals up to 6 miles of range with electrical isolation, which is useful for eliminating the ground loop. This process can be accomplished by using the standard Single-Mode Fiber Optic cable. The FiDO offers different choices of connectors including ST, LC or SC. This can vary depending on the converter model. The FiDO Mini-Converter excels all relevant SMPTE Specs, versatile, and are rugged, and suitable for outdoors to indoors.
