AJA Bridge NDI 3G HD/4K to NDI BiDirectional Multi-Channel Converter

The AJA Bridge NDI 3G HD/4K to NDI BiDirectional Multi-Channel Converter is a 1RU gateway that provides high-density conversion for multi-channel HD and 4K/UltraHD from 3G-SDI to NDI and NDI to 3G-SDI. It's simple to deploy and administer, as it's designed to connect into any current NDI or SDI workflow as a plug-and-play device.

Hardware
With 16 bidirectional 3G-SDI connections as small DIN 1.0/2.3 spigots for all baseband video inputs and outputs, the BRIDGE NDI 3G is contained in a 1RU chassis and delivers high-density I/O. 18x DIN 1.0/2.3 to BNC connections are included with the BRIDGE NDI 3G, making installation into an existing SDI infrastructure a breeze. The BRIDGE NDI 3G features twin 10GigE ports for control and all NDI I/O, with up to 16 channels of incoming or outgoing NDI streams supported.

Control from afar or on the spot
Local control of BRIDGE NDI 3G is possible using a mouse and keyboard and a VGA-capable display. All of BRIDGE NDI 3G's features are also accessible remotely, allowing for simple operation using the same user interface.

Encoding and Decoding
It's also feasible to use the BRIDGE NDI 3G to decode NDI to SDI and encode SDI to NDI at the same time. The BRIDGE NDI 3G provides 8-channels in each direction for an all-HD workflow that requires both encode (SDI to NDI) and decoding (NDI to SDI) at the same time.

The BRIDGE NDI 3G can take up to 16 incoming HD baseband video signals over 3G-SDI and NDI encode each of them, allowing up to 16 independent HD NDI channels to be broadcast through 10GigE. Eight dual-channel Video and Key Groups to NDI outputs, or four quad or dual channel 4K/UltraHD Groups to NDI outputs, are all possible with those 16 3G-SDI channels.
