Telestream Episode Engine 6 for Windows (Upgrade Episode Pro 6)
Episode Engine delivers outstanding transcoding speed, performance and value for large-scale deployments. Find out for yourself why video professionals worldwide rely on Episode Engine for its broad format support, transcoding automation features and unlimited scalability for distribution to new media outlets.
Scalability
Episode Engine provides ultra fast server-based media transcoding. It is massively scalable to keep pace with the growth of your business. Start with an Episode Engine; when your transcoding needs increase, you can easily add additional servers to create a cluster and use the full power of parallel encoding.
Ultimate Speed with Split-and-Stitch®
Episode Engine also includes our unique Split-and-Stitch functionality, providing speeds up to several times faster than real time for any output format, such as Flash 8, Windows Media, H.264 and many more. Split-and-Stitch enables the ability to split a large file, distribute each part to an available core on your machine, or across your cluster, and stitch it back together at the end of the process into one output file. This takes full advantage of all available CPU power, to achieve truly remarkable encoding speeds.
Automation
Episode Engine can be integrated into any media encoding workflow environment. Simply setup your input monitors, and Episode Engine will automatically begin the transcoding process. With the input monitors you can monitor for example local files, FTP servers. You can remotely follow the progress of your jobs from any Mac OS X computer. Event intelligent deployment and notification scripts in Episode Engine facilitate easy, automated integration with your production workflow.
Extensive Format Support
Episode Engine allows you to transcode most input formats to a wide range of output formats such as Flash 8/9, Windows Media, H.264 and much more. Repurpose media for websites, mobile phones, iPod, Sony PSP and other mobile devices, television, archiving, DVD and more. Whatever your encoding needs may be, Episode Engine can handle them.
