URSA Mini 4.6K Digital Cinema Camera from Blackmagic Design is a 4.6K Cinema Camera that has the capabilities of recording cinema images with the Super 35mm 4.6K as well as the 15 stops dynamic range. This camera has the ergonomic body design that suitable with plenty styles of filmmaking. As a PL-Mount series, as such you can use the popular lens to this camera. On the side of the body, there is the rosette that accommodates the included side handle for having the control of start/stop via the LANC connection.
On the Sensor, this URSA Mini 4.6K (PL-Mount) has the 4608 x 2592 of Effective Resolution. As for the display, the screen type brings the LCD capacitive touchscreen. Moreover, the Recording side offers you the (2) CFast 2.0 of Media Card Slots with the Recording Format at CinemaDNG Raw (Uncompressed or Lossless 3:1/4:1 Compressed). This unit also supports for the Apple ProRes recording formats. In addition, you will have the feature of Metadata Support which gives you the automatic camera data and user entered data such as shot number, filenames, and keywords.
Connectivity of this URSA Mini 4.6K (PL-Mount) gives you the 12G-SDI output, Reference input, Timecode input, Analog audio inputs in XLR connection, and USB 2.0 mini type B for software updates. The SDI Compliance gives you reliable standards: SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 424 Level B, Draft SMPTE 2081-1, Draft SMPTE 2082-1. Also, for SDI Audio sampling provides you the 48kHz and 24-bit. For mounting options, there are the integrated rod mounts that compatible with 15mm Light Weight Support (LWS) standard.
