On the front panel, this Teranex Express has a modern design and made from machined metal, compact 1RU size, and international power supply. For audio, this converter suits well to the Dolby encoded audio, as such, there isn't a decoded or re-encoded process via up and down conversions.
Teranex Express gives you the ability to send the output of Ultra HD files via the 4 SDI connections. As such, you can have 12G-SDI or 6G-SDI, up to 2160p60 Ultra HD frame rates sources on the wider ranges of projectors and monitors that only support for Quad link SDI 1080HD inputs. Another capability of this converter is supporting conversion 4:3 to 16:19 with the Smart Aspect Technology.
