The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio Mini is a portable broadcast quality deck that records ProRes onto commonly available SD cards. You get 6G‑SDI for recording all formats up to 2160p30, dual SD card slots for non-stop recording, a built-in LCD screen, and familiar VTR style front panel controls, all in a design that can be used on a desktop or in 1/3 of standard rack space! HyperDeck Studio Mini also features 720p and 1080p 4:4:4:4 file support with fill and key outputs so it can be used as a source to provide broadcast graphics to live production switchers for downstream keying over live video!
HyperDeck Studio Mini is a miniaturized professional deck that records and plays back broadcast quality 10-bit video using commonly available SD and UHS-II cards with capabilities of ProRes 4444 playback and 422 recordings with dual non-stop recording SD/UHS-II card recorders, FTP media upload. HyperDeck Studio Mini features 6G-SDI and supports SD, HD, and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p30. With a built-in dual SD card, this recorder allows the user to have non-stop recording. as well as reference output (built-in sync generator) that allows you to get the daisy chain and synchronize multiple decks altogether.
Built with Dual Link 6G-SDI out, HyperDeck Studio Mini allows you to playback certain files: 720 and 1080 HD 4:4:4:4 to separate fill and key output. You can also get the included industry standard of RS-422 deck control, built-in power supply as well as the ethernet port with PoE+ that very useful for custom control solutions and uploading media via FTP.
